He Is fabulous person with magic hands. His pastries are really delicious! When we return to Amsterdam my partner and I will go back there
The baklava is very good, quality pistachios and nicely crisp filo. It’s not over syrupy which I like. If you don’t know what to try you can ask the staff, who are very friendly and super helpful. The most popular item appears to be the halawet el-jibn (sweet cheese rolls), a whi…Meer beoordelingen

The most popular item appears to be the halawet el-jibn (sweet cheese rolls), a white dough like pastry almost like a mochi with a type of cream cheese in it. I was offered extra syrup on it if I liked. I saw another guest eating some and so bought one for them and there. Readers, it was so fresh and gooey, I was in heaven. There were many customers coming in to buy them. I bet they sell out of them.- Service

Delicious sweet pastries, everything is aesthetically pleasing. Perfectly balanced baklava not dripping in syrup. Friendly guy working there and explained what everything was. ☺️✨

This was my first time trying halawet el jibn, and it was absolutely marvelous! 👍 The dessert was filled with high-quality cream, pistachios, and cheese. It offered a wonderful blend of tea, milk, and floral flavors. I only bought 4 pieces and finished them within 10 minutes—so awesome!! Highly recommended :)

Service was fantastic. I had a million questions and she was so kind to answer them all. I ended up getting the medium box so my husband and I could try everything. The treats aren’t too sweet which is important for me. Worth a visit.

Super kind staff (I've been in at least a dozen times and each of the persons who attended me has been there with a big smile and patiently replying to questions) and love their Halawet El-Jibn - they feel like a soft cloud dashed in a bit of rosewater! Also really appreciate that nothing is too sweet (you can ask for additional syrup water on the side though) and the variety of bites is really remarkable!
The staff who serving us is soooo nice. She explained each single dessert to us and offered us to taste the Halawet el Jibn when we asking what is it. The Halawet el Jibn is great!!!! The outside dough is soft but gooey, with creamy inside. Not sure what type of blossom water th…Meer beoordelingen

The Halawet el Jibn is great!!!! The outside dough is soft but gooey, with creamy inside. Not sure what type of blossom water the chief added. The flowery taste made it taste so fresh. To get the best taste, I would recommend to enjoy it when it’s cold.
The baklava also fit my taste. It’s good baklava with rich nutty flavors. But not too much syrup dripping.- Service

Super friendly host and the food was amazing! Would definitely come back.
I have been craving these sweets and I finally found a store that has just opened in haarlemmerbuurt. The store has a super wide variety of all traditional arabic sweets. The taste is absolutely delicious. The service is super and the owner is very generous that he gave me a box of sweets for trying. A must try!

Absolutely delicious. If you love the flavor of middle eastern desserts but get put off by their (over)sweetness, Levant is for you. I've tried everything and they all taste premium. You taste the ingredients and not just the syrup
